Your Guide To Participating In Clinical Trials

We Are Committed To Exceeding Industry Standards In Patient Satisfaction

What Can I Expect From A Clinical Trial?

Everyone has taken medication at one time or another, and each medication has been through a clinical research process with patient participants. Patient participants are volunteers who are compensated to help research scientists in testing the safety and efficacy of new vaccines, medications and devices. Anyone can be part of a study provided you meet the qualifications as set by the Protocol. By participating, you will be making a difference in people’s lives and being compensated for your time, travel and/or mileage. Taking part in a clinical research trial is a big decision but be reassured that the Palm Beach Research team will expertly support you throughout the study.

Will I Be Compensated For Participating In A Research Study?

Every research study comes with clinical trial compensation at each visit or immediately following your visit. If you consent to a study, you may be compensated for your time and travel. The compensation varies by length of study and your involvement in the study. Call us at (561) 689-0606 and we will discuss the payments.

Information Regarding Your Participation

How Do I Get Started As A Participant In A Study?

The first step to participating in a Clinical Research Study is to choose a study from our current list of clinical studies. Or you can give us a call at 561-689-0606 from Monday through Friday 8am to 5 pm to find out more information. At any time, you can always fill out our contact form online or email us at: info@palmbeachresearch.com.

Your call will be forwarded to one of our patient representatives who will collect basic information to see if you prequalify for a study.

A helpful hint to complete the prescreen quicker is to have a list of your medicines and dosage along with your medical history.

What Can I Expect During The Screening Appointment?

Once you have passed the pre-screen process, you will be scheduled to come into our facility to meet with your Clinical Coordinator to see if you qualify for the study. Your coordinator will review the process with you, and conduct a physical exam which may include:

  • Measurement of your height, weight, temperature and blood pressure
  • A test that records the electrical activity of your heart, known as an electrocardiogram
  • Blood and/or urine samples
  • Diagnostic  tests required by the Clinical Trial Protocol

Please allow 2-4 hours for this appointment.
